Dr. Gerasimos (Makis) Siasos, who joined the parea last year while on a fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital, was recently promoted to associate professor at the National and Kapodistrian University's School of Medicine in Athens.
Makis, a cardiologist, is married to Dr. Eleni Kokkou and they are the parents of Dimitris (2.5 yrs. old) and Stavros (6 mos.)
