The parea celebrates two
recent graduations of children of sympareotes: Leah C., daughter of Frank and
Mary Ned Fotis and Kostis, son of Haris Theoharides and Lia Triarhou.
Leah, a 2006 BA/BS
graduate of the University of Illinois, just received an MPA from Harvard’s
Kennedy School and an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. She is now a
management consultant for The Boston Consulting Group. She has worked at the
White House Office of Management and Budget, at ASHOKA in DC, Mumbai and Dublin
and at AMIDEAST in Cairo and Alexandria. In the photo below, from left Mary Ned, Leah, Frank and Jared Fotis.
Kostis graduated in 2012
in Sociology and Spanish from Case Western Reserve University, where he
excelled as a midfielder of the varsity soccer team. He just graduated from
Barcelona’s Johan Cruyf Institute in sports management. He was a
four-year varsity soccer letterman at Brookline High School, lettered twice in
volleyball and once in indoor track and served as a keynote speaker in the 2009
